Rani’s Thoughts & Reflections

I believe that it isn’t easy to describe yourself to others in just a few words, because there’s so much more to you! Yet, this is a sincere attempt of letting you know more about the person behind the words, or rather in those words, without sounding vain.

“Me”

My name is Rashmi (the first rays of the sun), lovingly called “Rani”( Queen) a name given to me by my mom. I’m a fun loving, easy going person. A true -blue Saggitarian, can talk nineteen to a dozen with anybody, anywhere about anything!
I love going out and meeting people, love to dance and sing, music IS the universal language really! You’ll always find me on the dance floor, dancing the night away since I can’t really talk with all that noise , so might as well join in the fun!!

READING is my passion. I love books. period. I especially love books that make you “DREAM”. Some of my favourite books include : – The Alchemist, The five people you meet in heaven, The Secret, Master of the Game, The good you do returns and the list goes on…..

Being an Indian, I’m a sucker for emotions, I’m very sensitive and emotional that’s why I love SRK and his movies, and often cry when he gets slapped in his movies. Don’t ask me why…. I Just love SRK!

I am working as a Kindergarten Teacher – there is a saying people must love doing what they do, and that saying couldn’t be more true than in my case. I simply love my job. I love the lil angels I’m surrounded with all day! I think there is no other job more rewarding than a teacher’s.

Age is just a number, so I’ll let that be, though I shall always remain 16 deep down!  Well……enough about “ME”

“Myself”

I’ve been blessed with wonderful parents who have always given me their best whatever they could, I think if I could be half as good as my mom I’ll do just fine as a mother myself, and my father has been the drive behind my creativity, whether it was dancing or singing infront of 100’s of people or trying my hand at cooking, my father always encouraged me no matter what. When I become a Mom, I’d like to be all of that and give my children what my parents have taught me and given me the upbringing of a “queen” (yes, I do take my name seriously sometimes)

My adorable little sister  – who is just like a doll, she dotes on me, is always there for me, so caring and loving. She really is the sweetest sister anybody could ask for. She too, just like my Father has always encouraged me for everything. Wish I could be a better sister just how she is.  When I have kids, I’d like them to be close just how we both are and to always be there for each other, because in the end it’s your family that will always count.

And thats all about Myself.

“I”

There would be no “I” without the love of my life, my husband. Whatever I am today, my very existence is all because of him. He’s the kind of guy, every girl can only dream about, and I’ve been blessed to spend my entire life with a guy like him. He’s supportive, caring, loving, sweeeeeet, very understanding, I could just go on and on……. I’d seriously need another page just to express what I truly feel about him cuz that’s how crazy I am about him.  He’s made me what I am today, he’s instilled the confidence  and the love in me. Given me the best 10 years of my life, from that 5 years and counting of blissfulness, That’s how long we’ve been married now. And I’m looking forward to the next chapter in our marriage – Parenthood.

All these things do make you realize one thing……there is a GOD upthere!

I couldn’t be more thankful to the one up there for giving me such an amazing family to be thankful for.
